• Book of The Week - Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev
  Composer Study of Prokofiev
  Types of instruments
  Vocabulary - symphony, orchestra, classical music, composer, genre, conductor, Russia (map),
• Phonics/Reading/Writing - Begin Wilson Unit 5 -Sentence structure, sentence dictation, narrative fiction vs. informational books.
  Morning Writing -March book - practice spelling & reading trick words.
  Trick Words (practice at home with cards) - or, for, what 
  Continue to drill these at home and after they can read them, learn to spell them.
• Math - Cylinders,cube, cone, sphere; Identify money, count by 1's, 5's, 10's; adding with manipulatives
• Centers - Diorama (illustrate beginning, middle, end of Peter and the Wolf), Journals, decodable reader (Pig's Jet), Story puppets - retelling Peter and the Wolf
